Wagger Hinged Forklift Carriage:   The Secure Face of Angled Handling

The limited tilt angles provided by standard forklift masts are often insufficient for handling loads such as logs, timber bundles, or long pipelines. The Wagger Hinged Forklift Carriage integrates into the forklift’s original carriage, allowing the forks to tilt forward and backward at much wider angles (typically up to 45° – 50°). This extra maneuverability guarantees that the load is both securely gripped and transferred without spilling.

Engineering for Operational Superiority

  • Extra Wide Tilt Angle: Utilizing heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders, it extends the standard 5-10 degree tilt of conventional masts to a much wider range. This feature makes it physically impossible for round or slippery loads (logs, pipes, etc.) to slide off the forks during transport.
  • Heavy-Duty Pivot Structure: Designed with wear-resistant components to ensure smooth movement even under several tons of weight.
  • Load Protection and Stabilization: The ability to tilt the load further back (toward the forklift) brings the center of gravity closer to the forklift’s axle, reducing the risk of tipping and providing maximum balance on uneven terrain.
  • Compact and Powerful Chassis: An ultra-durable steel body design that is slim enough to minimize loss in lifting capacity while ensuring a clear field of vision for the operator.

Why Choose the Wagger Hinged Carriage?

  • Expertise in Bulk and Round Loads: Creates a “cradling” effect when transporting logs, poles, or pipes, preventing the load from sliding or launching forward.
  • Ease of Discharge: Thanks to the wide forward tilt angle, it allows you to fully discharge loads or additional attachments like buckets and hoppers at a steep angle.
  • Precision Stacking: Enables millimetric placement in confined spaces or high racking by allowing precise adjustment of the load angle.

Application Areas

  • Forest Products and Timber: Stacking logs and loading trucks.
  • Construction and Infrastructure: On-site transfer of long concrete poles or steel pipes.
  • Mining and Marble: Extra stability for transporting blocks or bulk loads.
  • Waste Management: High-altitude discharge of waste when used in conjunction with bucket attachments.
